BOOK REVIEW ON RUTHLESS

Debra Webb continues to keep us the reader involved in the story. Especially in book 6th she is dealing with several series cases, one is an old- cold case “The Man in the Moon,” which is a very old cold case. The other one is with Eric Spears, who seem to not go away, and now both cases are at the forefront of her cases. If you enjoy suspense with romantic then you have pick the right book. For me I so enjoy the element in trying to figure out the how, and the why, and the when. Debra Webb is just that type of writer, because she keeps you on the edge of your seat, thinking you know the fact, and then she has to add more twist and turns to the story. Her books are like a roller coaster that has the thriller aspects, and you will enjoy the ride. You need to get this book now!!! If you haven’t read this series you need to pick them up today!!!

(This is My Review of this book)- Revenge: The Faces of Evil Series: Book 5 (Mass Market Paperback) This is the fifth book of her series the Faces of Evil-Revenge. Here is some fact about the main characters that you need to get to know. Dan Burnett is Chief of the Birmingham Police Department, and Jess Harris, the Department's Deputy Chief of the Special Problems Unit. Dan and Jess were lovers twenty years ago. Jess, is a former FBI profiler, who has returned home to Birmingham following a botched case involving serial killer. Fast forward Dan is now Jess boss, and they have rekindled their love for each other. Let me say there a sufficient amount of deceit and, betrayal, and unknown killers, with a lot twist and turns so that you can't put this book down to the very end. Debra writes books that will keep you sitting on the edge of your seat until the very end. One more thing I will have to say is that you need to start from book one of this series so that you will be in the know of what is going on. MARY GRAMLICH, The Reading Reviewer: REVENGE by Debra Webb

MARY GRAMLICH, The Reading Reviewer: REVENGE by Debra Webb
REVENGE by Debra Webb Is every act of violence driven by something? Jess Harris is a Deputy Chief fighting off a stalking serial killer, attempting to get her new team on the same page, establish the whereabouts of a fellow office that tried to kill her, and figure out why her hair dryer keeps blowing a fuse. The additional complication is the rekindled romance that she is having with her boss Chief Dan Burnett, a man that can stop the rhythm of her heart just by hearing his voice. Trying to maintain rules and regulations when the heat is this strong is very difficult even for a kick butt woman who has convinced herself she does not need anyone taking care of her. This day finds Jess helping her former teacher not be convicted of murdering the man who ran her retirement home. Being a good businessman meant stepping on many toes but it should not mean getting your head bashed in, or so one would think. When a second victim is discovered and the pattern is repeated Jess knows something wicked is going on and believes the chain of effects happening now was created years ago by a group of teenagers with more money than good sense. When you are young and invincible you never think the terror you inflict on another would become your destiny. As the days move on, the violence increases, and more clues reveal themselves a deeper web of confusion around who really is the killer. Was this one of the supposed all together to the bitter end friends or a ghost from the past? The question becomes why now after all these years would the tables turn and the tormentor become the victim. If Jess can figure all this out and try just once to follow a direct order from her boss and lover it might just be a good day. This book is so mesmerizing that you will not let your put it down until it is completely finished and then wait anxiously for the next one in the series.
