ONCE IN A LIFETIME - JILL SHALVIS I have been enjoying the Lucky Harbor books so far. A Jill Shalvis book has humor with friendship and some seriousness. In this new addition we meet Ben McDaniel. Ben is beloved by the town of Lucky Harbor, after losing his wife he left to work through his grief. Ben decides to return to Lucky Harbor in hopes of a much quiet and peaceful life. Jill has given us little glimpses of Aubrey in one of her previous books. Audrey decides she would like to right some the wrongs that she’s had done in her past, and rebuild her family bookstore. What we find out about Aubrey is that she’s is a very lonely person. She’s never had anyone who she could depend on… no one who had her back. Instead, her parents split her and her sister up in their divorce and where she and her mom struggled to make ends meet, her very successful father and sister had a completely different life, which only deepen the feelings of being abandonment from her father.... Aubrey, uncle went behind her back and hire Ben to help her in renovating the bookstore, he wanted his niece to have someone who was good at what he did, and that would be you Ben. Her uncle also knew that she can’t afford to hire someone to do the work, so he told Ben that he want him to do the work, but he would give the bills him, and not to Aubrey his niece. You will have to read the book to see the electric between these two opposites. I couldn't put this book down, because I wanted to find out if what happen between these two people, and just how the town people were dealing with their beloved Ben, and the town bad girl. *Received this ARC in return for an honest review*

This the second book of Roxanne St. Claire's Billionaires of Barefoot Bay trilogy. Elliot Becker, along with his friends Nate and Zeke have planned to build a minor league baseball stadium. With the purchase of most of the land, they only needed this last parcel to complete their plans. There is just one problem the land has been in Frankie Cardinale's family forever and Frankie has no plans to sell the land to anyone not for any price. Elliot knows that he can make an offer that can't be refused. Until he finds out that Frankie is really Francesca, the beautiful owner who has no intention of selling her little goat farm property she inherited from her grandfather no matter what the price. Roxanne, will have you crying, and laughing, and then she has added a twist that you didn’t see coming. These two characters they are both hiding a secret from each other. What you need to do is find a comfortable chair, and have a cup of tea or hot chocolate, because you will not want to put this book down until the end. If you have not read SECRETS ON THE SAND, you need to read it too....
